Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position seeks a skilled Materials Tester to specialize in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) across various industrial settings, including fixed construction sites, assembly operations, plants, and power stations. The core responsibilities involve executing critical NDT procedures such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and surface examinations (Magnetic Particle/Penetrant Testing). The successful candidate will be responsible for meticulously creating comprehensive test documentation for all procedures performed and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, norms, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must possess vocational training in a metal or electrical trade and hold mandatory Level 2 certifications in RT, MT, and PT, with UT certification being highly advantageous for the role.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a commercial profession (metal or electrical trade); Mandatory Level 2 Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT); Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification (desirable)
Experience
- • Several years of professional experience in non-destructive testing and materials analysis
