Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks an experienced Materials Testing Technician to join a client team in Karlskron. The core responsibilities involve conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, specifically using the Penetrant Testing (PT) method. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing, assessing, and evaluating material damage and test results, meticulously documenting measurements, and determining the usability of tested materials. A key part of the role is creating and validating testing procedures and instructions, as well as organizing and leading internal training sessions, including 'Training on the Job,' for NDT trainees. Candidates must possess a completed technical education, several years of relevant industrial experience, and hold a Level 1 or 2 qualification in NDT-PT according to EN 4179 or EN 9712 standards. The role requires a high degree of quality consciousness, a structured work approach, and willingness to work early and late shifts, making strong organizational and technical documentation skills essential.
