Job Summary

This Senior Professional System Engineer role is vital for advancing collaboration and knowledge management within the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management—design, development, testing, optimization, and operation—of software solutions and infrastructure, ensuring effective communication and workflow across the organization. Daily tasks involve planning, administering, and maintaining IT systems, analyzing performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high system availability and security. A key focus is the technical modernization of existing products (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Suite), specifically leading the planning and execution of migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms, such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online. This position requires a university degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, several years of relevant professional experience, and deep expertise in cloud administration and large-scale infrastructure migration.
