Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration of firewall and GPO systems, managing servers under VMWare and HyperV, and ensuring data security using Veeam. A significant part of the role involves administering Terminal Servers via Citrix, maintaining NetScaler knowledge, and actively developing the city's network infrastructure, including VLAN, physical networks, and Zero Trust implementation. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Informatics or a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with deep knowledge of network access control (NAC), VLANs, and PKI/CA structures.
