The City of Speyer is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Technician (state-certified technician in construction technology) or Road Construction Master Craftsman to join the Civil Engineering, Traffic Planning, and Public Transport department. This full-time, permanent role focuses primarily on road maintenance and preservation, managing over 200 km of roads, paths, and associated structures within the city limits. Key responsibilities include preparing, leading, supervising, and settling road maintenance construction projects, coordinating with utility providers for proper surface restoration after excavations, and managing signage, traffic signs, and road markings.
