Job Summary

This role involves the technical development and planning of energy supply, power plant, and industrial plant construction projects within a global energy company. The Process Engineer will perform Engineering Management and Owner's Engineering for new construction and optimization projects, focusing heavily on carbon-neutral generation systems for process heat, electricity, and green fuels. Day-to-day tasks include concept, basic, and front-end engineering, creating mass and heat balances, process descriptions, and defining PFDs and P&IDs. The position requires a Master's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, over five years of engineering experience in the energy or chemical sector, and fluency in both English and German. The ideal candidate is structured, creative, willing to take on leadership, and comfortable collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to develop simple solutions for complex energy challenges.
