Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Field Service IT Technician to manage the retail IT infrastructure, primarily focusing on Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, for a major retailer in the greater Ingolstadt area. Day-to-day responsibilities involve handling support inquiries, maintaining, configuring, and installing client and server infrastructure, and ensuring the upkeep of network components, server hardware, and printers. The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational training in IT or equivalent qualification, coupled with proven experience in maintaining and repairing diverse IT systems. This position requires high flexibility, including readiness for on-call duty and occasional weekend assignments.
