Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Biological or Chemical Technical Assistant (BTA/CTA) or Laboratory Technician to join the Institute for Medical Microbiology and Infection Medicine at the University of Tübingen. The position is primarily focused on laboratory coordination and logistics, acting as a crucial interface between various working groups. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the supply chain for lab materials, executing autoclaving processes, cleaning and disposing of materials, and ensuring the professional procurement and ordering of supplies. The role also involves the maintenance and repair coordination of laboratory equipment, including liaising with external companies, and preparing media. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, work conscientiously and independently, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
