Day-to-day tasks involve conducting cutting-edge research focused on valorizing oleochemical side streams through microbial transformation. This includes establishing synthesis strategies via microbial oxidation and biocatalytic transformation, developing sophisticated work-up and analytical methods, publishing research findings in scientific journals, and presenting at international conferences. Key requirements include a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related natural science field, coupled with knowledge of microbial transformation and ideally initial experience in fermentation and biocatalysis.
