Job Summary

This role involves supporting the lead installer and independently executing tasks related to the installation, assembly, and commissioning of complex security systems on construction sites. Key responsibilities include working strictly according to technical drawings and wiring diagrams to install fire alarm systems, intruder alarm systems, video surveillance, and access control systems. The technician is also responsible for performing necessary electrotechnical measurements, documenting results accurately, troubleshooting building systems, and carrying out essential repairs. The ideal candidate holds a recognized electrical engineering qualification and ideally possesses prior experience in security technology installation and commissioning. Completed and recognized electrical engineering apprenticeship (e.g., Electrician for Energy and Building Technology, or Information and Telecommunications Technology)

Experience

  • Experience in the assembly and commissioning of electrotechnical systems
  • Preferably experience in the field of security technology
