This role involves acting as the Brand Lead for herbal Consumer Health Products, focusing on managing the CMC-D (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls - Development) strategy for assigned brands, including New Product Development (NPD) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) projects, specifically adhering to herbal regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include authoring complex scientific documents, conducting due diligence assessments, managing change impact assessments, and leading continuous improvement initiatives within the category, while coaching junior colleagues. The ideal candidate holds a scientific degree (e.g., Chemistry, Biotechnology) and possesses strong hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, coupled with expertise in cGMP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory standards. Success in this fast-paced, global environment requires strong analytical skills, effective cross-functional collaboration, and proficient English communication.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or an international equivalent

Experience

  • Hands-on experience in a technical role within the pharmaceutical or related industry (e.g., Analytical Development, Formulation Development, Manufacturing)
  • Professional experience in product development processes
  • Highly desirable experience in phyto-specific regulatory requirements for Module 3 preparation
  • Desirable experience or knowledge of chemical products
