Job Summary
This role is ideal for an experienced PLC Programmer ready to develop and optimize control programs for complex automation systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing technical requirements and implementing them using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), performing commissioning and troubleshooting on control systems, and ensuring program functionality through simulations and rigorous testing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the design and electrical engineering teams to develop optimal solutions. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, along with practical experience in PLC programming, ideally using platforms like Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience with Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT is desirable
- Knowledge of drive and control technology
- Initial experience with industrial bus systems like Profibus or Profinet
