Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks a C# .NET Software Developer to join the NOVA IT organization, a joint operation supporting the statutory accident insurance providers BGHM and VBG. Based in Mainz, Hannover, or Hamburg, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and developing modern .NET Desktop applications and participating in the maintenance and further development of critical cross-cutting business processes. Key responsibilities include ensuring software quality through meticulous code reviews and surface testing, analyzing and coordinating the resolution of error messages (troubleshooting), and creating clear product and operational documentation to maintain a transparent and secure IT landscape. Depending on organizational needs, you may also participate in or lead interdisciplinary projects. The ideal candidate holds a relevant university degree or equivalent IT vocational training, strong conceptual skills, and fluent German proficiency (C1 level minimum), coupled with a willingness to travel for business needs.
