Job Summary

This role involves taking a central position in the development, optimization, and maintenance of reliable payroll processes, working closely with HR Payroll specialists. The primary focus is on the technical support and enhancement of SAP HCM Payroll, including schemes, rules, and calculation components, ensuring stable, legally compliant, and high-performing solutions (currently SAP HCM on premise). Day-to-day tasks include analyzing, testing, and implementing legal and company-specific changes, supporting monthly and annual payroll runs, resolving complex payroll errors (3rd-level support), and conducting code reviews and performance optimizations. The developer will also create technical concepts and documentation and advise the Payroll department on introducing new technologies and process automation, such as the roadmap to H4S4/S/4Hana HCM.
