Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Technician to join the Ems-Vechte Regional Center team in Metelen, focusing on the safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure, including gas, medium-voltage, and low-voltage electricity networks. Day-to-day tasks involve the independent execution and supervision of installation, maintenance, and repair work across gas technical facilities, pipe networks, and cable/overhead line networks. The technician will perform network switching operations, autonomously troubleshoot disturbances, and manage operational tasks such as commissioning, documentation, and creating short-term connections. A key responsibility is the technical supervision and coordination of external companies, ensuring quality requirements are met. Candidates must have completed vocational training in a recognized gas or electrical engineering trade and be willing to acquire the integrated network fitter qualification. This position is crucial for contributing to the energy transition and requires participation in integrated on-call duty.
