Job Summary

This Trainee position, based in Arnsberg, offers a dynamic start for an Electrical Engineering graduate passionate about the energy transition. The role focuses on the secure management of complex high-voltage power grids (up to 110 kV) within Germany’s largest distribution network operator. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently monitoring and controlling high-voltage networks, coordinating responses during faults, and making autonomous decisions regarding deployment for fault clearance. The trainee will also assist in fault analysis, prepare switching programs for maintenance, and contribute to network planning projects. This role is crucial in managing the shift towards decentralized, renewable energy sources and involves working with advanced control and calculation systems.
