Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership role as Vice President of Precision Medicine, responsible for defining and executing comprehensive precision medicine strategies within Research and Development. The VP will integrate advanced biomarker technologies, companion diagnostics (CDx), and digital innovations to enhance patient-centric solutions throughout the drug development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Medical, and Commercial teams, overseeing the end-to-end development of CDx compliant with global regulatory standards, and championing the integration of genomic and imaging data into clinical workflows. The ideal candidate holds an advanced scientific degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) and possesses at least 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with a strong focus on biomarker development, CDx, and translational medicine, including significant senior leadership experience.

Experience

  • At least 15 years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry focusing on biomarker development, CDx, and translational medicine
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven success in leading biomarkers or CDx through regulatory approval and clinical implementation
  • Experience with machine-learning applications in clinical decision support (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with real-world evidence generation (Preferred)
  • Leadership experience in large-scale sequencing or decentralized trial initiatives (Preferred)
  • Global regulatory submission experience with surrogate biomarker endpoints (Advantageous)
