Job Summary

This critical role as an NPI Materials Manager involves leading and developing a team of Materials Program and Project Managers to drive new products from R&D through to high-volume manufacturing. The manager ensures that Product Development and Release (PDR) deliverables are completed on time and with high quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for escalations between Product Groups and Supply Chain, developing strategic cost reduction roadmaps, and collaborating closely with Supply Chain to define sourcing strategies. You will be responsible for managing the transition to high-volume deliverables, assessing supplier ramp readiness, and mitigating critical parts risks. Success requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, coupled with significant program management experience, particularly within the semiconductor industry, and proven leadership in managing direct reports. The role demands excellent communication skills to interface with high-level executives and cross-functional teams.
