Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be at the forefront of innovation, assembling and testing pilot products and modules to ensure high-quality standards. Working in a dynamic pilot production environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, chemical, and testing disciplines to transition new designs into full-scale production. Your daily responsibilities include supporting the assembly and documentation of test fixtures, reporting technical issues, and proactively driving process improvements to increase operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a self-managed professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology. The position offers an attractive compensation package under the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement, featuring a flexible 38.5-hour work week and a 14-month salary structure.

Required Skills

Education

Technical education (HTL - Higher Technical Institute) or a completed technical/leading apprenticeship.

Experience

  • Professional experience in assembly and testing of pilot products and modules
  • Experience working in a production or laboratory environment across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, or chemical)
  • Experience in documenting test fixtures and technical assemblies
  • Proven track record of identifying technical issues and implementing efficiency improvements

  • Must be willing to work overtime when required. Position is based in Villach, Austria, with a contract governed by the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metal Technology Industry.
