Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Hardware Developer in Kiel to design, implement, and qualify electronic systems, primarily within safety-critical industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning electronic system architectures, conducting feasibility studies, and generating comprehensive system and hardware specifications. A core function involves creating schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools like Altium Designer or Eagle, performing circuit simulations, and developing test routines for complex assemblies. The developer will also manage crucial qualification campaigns, specifically focusing on EMC and environmental testing, while ensuring methodical quality and detailed technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses deep knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, and has profound experience applying the V-Model in hardware development. Proficiency in both German and English is required for collaboration within this dynamic, future-oriented team.

Experience

  • Profound experience in hardware development according to the V-Model
  • Routine in creating specifications and requirements
  • Experience in FPGA design (VHDL)

  • Knowledge of Functional Safety according to IEC 61508 or comparable (desirable)
