As an IT Systems Specialist based in Kiel, you will play a pivotal role in designing and integrating complex IT systems and network architectures specifically for naval vessels. You will be instrumental in system certifications with classification societies and will lead the commissioning process on board ships. Required Skills
Education
University degree in a technical or scientific field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or Mathematics. Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and project planning of complex IT and network systems
- Experience in IT infrastructure, virtualization, and IT security
- Professional experience in the maritime/naval environment or with comparable complex technical systems is preferred
- Experience in supplier management and technical commissioning
- Experience with system certification and classification processes
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business trips, including sea voyages. Position is based in Kiel under a temporary employment framework (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung) but with a permanent contract (unbefristet).
