Job Summary

This role involves leading complex projects within the future-oriented energy sector, focusing on hydrogen, carbon capture, and gas technologies for a prominent industrial client in Oberhausen. The Lead Engineer will take full responsibility for Instrumentation, Control, and Electrical (ICE/EMSR) projects, managing everything from initial planning and specification creation (Lasten- and Pflichtenhefte) through to execution and customer support. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating internal and external project partners, defining interfaces, cost controlling using SAP, and contributing to safety analyses (HAZOP). The ideal candidate must possess a degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, coupled with several years of experience in project management within plant engineering. Expertise in medium voltage systems, ATEX directives, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, and SAP are essential for success in this challenging and rewarding position.
