Job Summary

This role involves designing, configuring, and installing IT hardware and software components, primarily supporting the development of premium sensor systems for defense and surveillance missions at HENSOLDT in Immenstaad. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining complex, heterogeneous laboratory and test environments, including Windows and Linux servers, IP networks, and virtual machines. A key focus is the automation of installation, build, and release processes using CI/CD pipelines and scripting tools like Bash and PowerShell. Day-to-day tasks include concept creation for automated installations, system maintenance, troubleshooting integrated systems, and close collaboration with agile teams in System Engineering, Software Development, and DevOps. The ideal candidate brings extensive professional experience in software development, strong administration skills in both Windows and Linux, and expertise in virtualization and container technologies (e.g., Docker, VMware).
