Job Summary

As a Materials & Processes (M&P) Engineer at Airbus Operations in Bremen, you will play a pivotal role in Research & Technology (R&T) projects focused on airframe innovation. Your daily responsibilities include defining and executing projects related to surface treatments, paints, coatings, and composite materials. You will act as a technical liaison for externally funded contracts, such as LuFo and Clean Aviation, while collaborating closely with research institutes, universities, and material suppliers. A key focus of the role is driving innovation by optimizing assembly processes and implementing new technologies. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Material Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in engineering, research and development, and materials science

  • Proven experience in project and process management
  • Experience collaborating with external partners, research institutes, and universities
