Job Summary

This role is for a Technical Writer focused on creating comprehensive operational management plans for a prominent client in the naval shipbuilding industry, based in the Bremen area. Key responsibilities include drafting detailed operational management plans, validating documented systems and equipment through on-board inspections and condition checks, and actively sourcing necessary information and documentation from various suppliers. The writer must also meticulously review all collected materials and information for technical accuracy. The position requires a candidate with a technical background, ideally holding a Bachelor's, Master's, or Technician qualification in Electrical or IT Technology. Practical knowledge of ship-related systems, such as navigation and communication equipment, is essential, and prior seafaring experience is highly preferred. Success hinges on the ability to analyze complex technical data and translate it into user-friendly system representations, coupled with proficiency in MS Office and excellent language skills in both German and English.
