Job Summary

This role involves working as a Development Engineer for Test Equipment and Systems, focusing on high-frequency (HF) products, primarily supporting the aerospace sector in the Stuttgart region. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and optimizing test equipment for HF products like amplifiers, and developing automated test systems to verify electrical and HF-specific parameters (e.g., S-parameters, VSWR). The engineer will be responsible for selecting appropriate HF measurement technology (like network and spectrum analyzers), coordinating with development, quality, and manufacturing teams on test plans and software, and managing the test equipment throughout its lifecycle, including technical documentation and user training. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, deep expertise in high-frequency technology, routine experience with standard HF measurement tools, and professional experience in test equipment development (electrical, mechanical, and software aspects). Good proficiency in both German and English is desired for effective communication.
