Job Summary

This role is for a Senior IT Service Technician to be based in Vilnius, Lithuania, on a 24-month long-term assignment after initial training in Germany. The primary responsibilities include providing on-site IT support for Bundeswehr locations in Lithuania, handling incident and IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, commissioning, upgrading, and maintenance of hardware and software, as well as the administration of IT infrastructures, including network and server environments. This position requires strong technical skills in field service, comprehensive knowledge of ticketing systems, and the ability to provide 1st and 2nd-level user support, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements and participating in on-call duties. The role is ideal for a proactive IT professional with excellent communication skills, eager for an international assignment.
