Job Summary

Join the 'Forge' (Schmiede), the software innovation unit driving the digitization of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). This role involves working in small, interdisciplinary Scrum teams to conceptualize and develop innovative, stable, and secure backend applications. Day-to-day tasks include designing new applications collaboratively with product owners and architects, developing backend services primarily using Dotnet/C# in a Clean Code environment, and ensuring seamless interoperability between front- and backend systems. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training, at least four years of professional experience in backend development, and strong knowledge of interface technologies and relational databases.
