Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position is seeking a skilled Technician to manage the construction, maintenance, and fault resolution of critical communication infrastructure, focusing heavily on fiber optic, copper, and general transmission technology. The role involves hands-on tasks such as splicing, measuring, and patching fiber optic networks, performing telecommunication cable assembly on copper networks, and ensuring compliance with broadband expansion regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master in Communications or Electrical Engineering, or possess relevant professional experience, ideally within the network division of an energy provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include site supervision, coordinating maintenance, handling documentation, and contributing to the future planning of data communication systems, requiring a structured, independent, and responsible work ethic.

State-Certified Technician or Master in Communications Technology or Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in network area of an energy provider (desirable)
- Professional experience in telecommunications/electrical engineering (for lateral entrants)
- Experience in handling regulations and standards in broadband expansion
