Job Summary

This role is for an IT Software Engineer at ETC, an international high-tech company specializing in gas centrifuges for uranium enrichment and providing high-security engineering services to the nuclear energy sector. The professional will be responsible for analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, and optimizing software solutions primarily for quality and process data documentation. Key daily tasks include driving standardization and consolidation of IT processes, managing the system interface between manufacturing and the ERP system, and providing Second-Level Support in both German and English. The ideal candidate must have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for Application Development), possess strong skills in application and database development, especially within the Microsoft environment (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET), and be proficient in database management and query languages (preferably Oracle/PLSQL). This position requires technological curiosity, good English skills, and a willingness to undertake national and international business travel.
