This is an opportunity for an experienced IT System Engineer to join a globally leading company in innovative welding solutions, contributing to high-impact projects ranging from space travel to automotive manufacturing. Based in Munich, this role focuses on driving efficiency and stability within the operational IT environment. Day-to-day tasks involve leading projects for developing IT standards, optimizing complex IT processes, and expanding the core Microsoft architecture, including Azure and Power Apps. The engineer will also be crucial in ensuring the reliable operation of the IT infrastructure, implementing critical security concepts, and providing 3rd Level Support to the administration team. Candidates must bring a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification, combined with over six years of professional experience in IT operations, strong knowledge of VMware, and expertise in server and storage solutions. Fluency in German is a prerequisite for success in this demanding role.
