Job Summary

Join a dedicated team in Leipzig focusing on energy infrastructure as a Commissioning Engineer/Protection Technician. This role is central to the successful operation of medium and and high-voltage systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include the parameterization and testing of digital protection devices, commissioning primary and secondary equipment in utility substations, and setting up control system facilities. You will also be responsible for analyzing circuit-technical designs, systematically troubleshooting electrical system failures, and creating detailed technical reports. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or possesses equivalent technical qualifications (Technician/Master Craftsman). Professional experience in commissioning protection technology and familiarity with industry-standard protection devices and testing equipment are essential. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, Energy Technology, Renewable Energies, or Engineering with a focus on Electrical Engineering; or qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman with comparable expertise.
