Job Summary

This role is seeking a technically adept Industrial Electrician to join a metal processing company in the Aachen region, focusing on the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex machinery and automated systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing maintenance according to schedule, diagnosing and resolving faults using PLC systems, and performing new installations, modifications, and commissioning of automated plants. A key part of the job involves programming, adapting, and documenting PLC programs, alongside maintaining technical documentation and circuit diagrams. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in operational technology, excellent knowledge of PLC, drive, and control technology, and be willing to work in a 3-shift rotation and participate in on-call duty. This position offers an unlimited contract and a competitive hourly wage, providing a long-term perspective in a dynamic industrial environment.
