Job Summary

This role is central to shaping the future of e-mobility by managing the complete lifecycle of medium-voltage projects, focusing specifically on the technical design and commissioning of transformer substations. As the Project Engineer, you will take ownership of projects once approved by sales, handling everything from technical specification and component selection to coordinating the final grid connection. A key part of the job involves ensuring strict compliance with all relevant norms, directives, and technical connection requirements (TAB, VDE, DIN standards) set by grid operators. You will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating communication between internal teams, external suppliers, grid operators, and authorities. The ideal candidate brings multiple years of experience in medium voltage systems and a strong background in electrical engineering. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Electrician or comparable qualification. Ideally, further qualification as a Master Electrician (Meister) or Technician in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Multiple years of professional experience in medium voltage, transformer substations, or grid connection projects
  • Practical experience applying relevant VDE norms (e.g., 0101, 0105, VDE-AR-N 4110)
  • Experience working with norms, directives, and technical connection requirements of grid operators

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Class B driver's license required. Willingness to travel (within Germany and Austria).
