Job Summary

The DATAGROUP Rhein-Main GmbH is seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer for their Workplace Support team in Rheinfelden, initially on a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2027. This role is crucial for maintaining end-user workplace services (EUWS), focusing on onsite support, including IMAC/D (Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete) and Break & Fix services for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Day-to-day tasks involve installing and configuring hardware and software, managing printing services, and conducting in-depth, non-standard error analysis within a customer-specific IT environment. The successful candidate will manage trouble tickets using an electronic system, handle hardware rollouts and local moves, and support mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Android). Key requirements include a relevant IT education or comparable professional experience, excellent general IT knowledge (especially Windows 10 and client hardware/software), and proficiency in LAN/WAN services. Strong customer orientation, reliability, and excellent German and good English skills are essential for effective communication and service delivery.
