Job Summary

This critical role seeks an experienced Control Room Operator to manage the 24/7 operations of an Offshore Wind Farm, likely based near Helgoland. The operator will be responsible for administering and monitoring systems using both WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) SCADA and HV (High Voltage) SCADA, ensuring strict adherence to site procedures. A key component of the role involves managing event response protocols, including serving in the Bronze/Silver emergency response capacity for navigation aids and sea lights. Candidates must possess a strong background in electrical engineering, evidenced by a relevant vocational qualification, and must have a minimum of five years of professional experience operating offshore wind parks. Advanced knowledge of maritime logistics and strong HSSE awareness are mandatory, along with specific switching authorization up to 155kV. This is a permanent position offering a demanding yet attractive 14/14 offshore rotation schedule.
