Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the high availability and reliability of critical network infrastructure, contributing significantly to the economic and living standards of the Linz region. The technician will be primarily responsible for the construction, adaptation, and maintenance of transformer substations, including medium-voltage systems, low-voltage distributors, and control systems. Key daily tasks include conducting system revisions, control measurements, and troubleshooting faults. A crucial part of the job involves switching operations across low, medium, and high-voltage networks, including working under live voltage conditions. Candidates must possess a completed technical education in electrical engineering or a related field, coupled with at least two years of relevant professional experience. Basic knowledge of PLC systems (specifically S7) is a plus, and a Class B driving license is mandatory.
