Job Summary

This full-time role involves taking overall technical and strategic responsibility for Software License Management (SLM) within the DFS-Systemhaus, ensuring secure and compliant operations for Germany's air traffic control. The specialist will be crucial in shaping the future of the organization's IT landscape by designing, steering, and continuously developing SLM processes, methods, tools, and systems. A core function is consulting executive management and departments on license compliance, cost efficiency, and optimal usage. Day-to-day tasks include leading and conducting software license audits, serving as the central contact for external partners, and coordinating complex tenders, contract negotiations, and software deployment decisions. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with long-term professional experience in SLM, strong project leadership skills, and fluency in both German and English.
