This role involves leading cutting-edge research and development in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to robotic systems, focusing on real-world applications such as medical devices and wearable robotics. The Group Leader will be responsible for defining and executing the R&D strategy for the Robotics division, including setting development priorities like model-based system design, self-learning systems, and simulation. A key component of the role is building and coordinating a high-performing research group, which includes personnel management, securing external funding, and publishing scientific work. Candidates must possess a PhD in a relevant engineering or computer science field, coupled with significant scientific and industrial experience in Robotics-AI, evidenced by publications or patents. Required Skills

Education

University degree and Doctorate (PhD) in Engineering Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

Experience

  • Scientific and industrial experience in Robotics and AI, evidenced by publications and/or patents
  • Several years of professional experience in an industrial R&D environment
  • Experience in leading an R&D team
