Job Summary

This role is for an experienced IT Specialist in System Integration seeking to manage complex, highly available server environments. The System Administrator will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Linux/UNIX and Windows systems, focusing on efficiency, security, and scalability. Key responsibilities include 2nd and 3rd-level troubleshooting, implementing robust backup and recovery strategies, and managing virtualized and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). A strong emphasis is placed on automation using tools like Ansible and Puppet, system monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix), and implementing security measures (Firewalls, IDS). The ideal candidate has initial professional experience, excellent German language skills (C1 minimum), and a commitment to continuous professional development, with some travel required for exciting project work.
