Job Summary

As an Expert Assessor for Electromagnetic Fields and Optical Radiation, you will be responsible for conducting crucial domestic and international measurements and assessments, examining the human impact of sources like high-voltage lines, mobile radio systems, lasers, and UV emitters. A core part of the role involves creating sophisticated computational models of energy systems and mobile antennas to accurately determine resulting electromagnetic fields. You will independently author expert reports and risk assessments vital for environmental permitting and occupational safety compliance. Beyond technical duties, you will manage projects commercially and professionally from initial proposal to final billing, present complex findings in presentations and mediation procedures, and actively participate in innovation and research to advance service offerings. This role requires a degree in Physics or Engineering, strong analytical skills, excellent communication in German and ideally English, and a willingness to travel.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Physics or comparable Natural Science or Engineering field (e.g., Electrical Engineering)

Experience

  • Professional experience in conducting measurements of electromagnetic fields and optical radiation
  • Professional experience in creating expert reports and risk assessments
  • Knowledge of energy systems, mobile communications, or laser technology (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and/or occupational safety guidelines (advantageous)
