Job Summary

This role involves the planning, design, and optimization of electrical energy systems, such as power plants, substations, and switchgear. The Energy Technology Engineer will manage technical project steering, support implementation, and oversee the commissioning, monitoring, and maintenance of high- and medium-voltage systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing load flow calculations, network analyses, and simulations, alongside creating comprehensive technical documentation and coordinating interfaces with internal departments and external service providers. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical or Energy Technology, initial professional experience in the field, familiarity with CAD/CAE tools (like AutoCAD or EPLAN), and a solid understanding of VDE standards and technical project management methodologies (such as V-Model or agile).
