This role is for an Electrical Engineering Specialist focused on ensuring the reliability and future-readiness of energy networks, spanning low to high voltage systems. The core responsibilities involve independently conducting diagnostic measurements on various operational equipment, including cables, transformers, and converters, and evaluating the results. You will perform switchgear testing, analyze complex measurement issues (including grounding, acoustic, and EMC measurements), and provide expert technical advice. A key part of the job is developing and implementing standardized measurement solutions, creating operational documentation, and analyzing disturbances to develop effective resolution strategies. Candidates should hold a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and ideally have experience in cable fault location and network operations. The position requires high dedication, autonomous work, strong problem-solving skills, and participation in on-call duty for rapid fault clearance, making it a critical position in maintaining Hamburg's energy supply.
