Job Summary

This role involves providing essential measurement technology support within the fault clearance team across all voltage levels, significantly contributing to supply security. Day-to-day tasks include preparing planned fault clearance measures using GIS systems, analyzing network and plant data to support targeted deployment planning, and setting up test and measurement circuits for fault location determination. The assistant will analyze measurement results, help select appropriate measures, and safely operate modern testing equipment, ensuring accurate measurement execution and documentation. Furthermore, the role involves maintenance and repair of fault location devices, overseeing DGUV inspections on electrical operating equipment to ensure safety compliance, and participating in on-call duty across the network area. The ideal candidate has a completed technical vocational training, ideally in the electrical engineering field, possesses prior measurement technology knowledge, and demonstrates strong analytical skills and reliability, making this a crucial position in maintaining Hamburg's energy infrastructure.
