Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure for a leading German Cloud Provider specializing in Enterprise Open Source Cloud solutions. The Data Center IT Service Technician will be responsible for the setup, cabling, and electronic connection of server hardware and network components, performing necessary repairs, and independently handling customer inquiries related to the infrastructure. A key component of the job is monitoring the company's proprietary data center infrastructure and electronic systems. Candidates must possess a completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electrician or IT Service Technician, or equivalent relevant professional experience, coupled with strong technical aptitude and hardware knowledge. After an initial onboarding period, the technician will join a team working in a rotating shift system, contributing to digital sovereignty and engaging regularly with the newest technologies in a modern, collaborative work environment across the Düsseldorf and Cologne locations.
