This role involves coordinating and managing complex European Train Control System (ETCS) rollout and Digital Signaling Box (DSTW) projects within the major infrastructure project spanning Flensburg to Maschen. The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and schedule targets, managing crucial stakeholder alignments with authorities and third parties up to the approval stage, and handling procurement documentation, contract finalization with suppliers, and continuous project documentation. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, coupled with substantial professional experience in signaling technology (LST), ETCS, and Electronic Interlocking Systems (ESTW/DSTW). The ideal candidate must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to professionally advocate for project goals, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and provide technical leadership to project team members in challenging ventures.
