This crucial role involves maintaining and ensuring the reliability of essential railway control and safety technology (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik) across various locations including Altenburg, Dessau-Roßlau, and Zeitz. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, technical inspection, and repair of signal technology, level crossings, and interlocking systems within the track area. Day-to-day activities include preparing for site visits, troubleshooting faults, analyzing error patterns, and rapidly restoring system availability. This position requires hands-on physical work outdoors in all weather conditions, demanding technical understanding, precision, and a strong sense of responsibility. Applicants must have a completed vocational qualification as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician and possess a Class B driving license or the willingness to obtain one, contributing actively to Germany's mobility transition and climate-friendly transport.
