Job Summary

This role is for an Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, focused on contributing actively to the energy transition within the Federal Construction Department (BBA) in Hamburg. The professional will coordinate and manage complex, multi-system individual measures for technical trades related to major project planning and site development, including historical preservation and large new construction projects on federal properties (e.g., military hospitals, universities). Key responsibilities involve commissioning and expertly supervising external planning and engineering firms, ensuring quality control, and presenting concepts during inter-departmental negotiations. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, or a related field, possesses strong knowledge of relevant German regulations (RBBau, HOAI, VOB/A), and is required to have at least C1 level German proficiency.
