Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Electrical Development Engineer for a renowned defense industry company in Kassel, focusing on the holistic development and maintenance of innovative training devices and systems for both civil and military applications. You will be responsible for defining technical solutions, analyzing functional requirements, and translating them into comprehensive documentation, including specifications and technical manuals. A core part of the job includes designing and developing electrical assemblies, components, and systems for production and existing product maintenance. Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with several years of professional experience in electronic device development. Essential technical knowledge includes digital, analog, and high-frequency technology, along with practical experience in cabinet planning, E-CAD systems (ideally Engineering Base), and bus systems like Profinet or CAN-Bus.
