Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Development department of a renowned defense industry company located in Kassel, focusing on coordinating exciting development projects for military and civilian training devices and systems. The Development Technician ensures the timely and quality-compliant implementation of projects, from initial proposal through to delivery. Key responsibilities include maintaining the formal and substantive accuracy of development documents, managing equipment data within PLM, development, and administration systems, and actively participating in technical changes, obsolescence management, and configuration status monitoring. The ideal candidate must be a certified Technician (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanics) with initial professional experience in project-oriented activities. Proficiency with SAP, PLM tools, and ECAD systems (like Engineering Base or Eplan) is essential for ensuring smooth development processes and clear documentation across various technical departments.
